Fact-Checking Policy

Fact-checked by Adam Kennah, M.D. on . See our fact-checking policy.

Every clinical claim on GLPOneReview is verified before publication. This page documents how that verification works and what the per-claim verifiers are.

Verification workflow

  1. Writer drafts. The editor or contributor assigned to the page drafts the article using the sources we accept (see below).
  2. Source attribution. Every clinical claim is tagged with its source — a peer-reviewed trial, an FDA document, a clinical guideline, or a state board action. Claims without a verifiable source are removed before review, not flagged for "later."
  3. Clinical reviewer review. For clinical claims, Adam Kennah, M.D. reviews. For pharmacy claims, John Berg, Pharm.D. reviews.
  4. Pricing verification. Maria Torres verifies every pricing claim by direct checkout observation, refreshed weekly.
  5. Editor approval. Amanda Chen reads the final version and approves for publication.
  6. Publication. The page is published with the reviewer's name and the review date in the fact-check line at the top.
  7. Refresh cadence. Provider review pages and pricing-dependent pages are re-verified at least every 30 days. Clinical reference pages are re-verified at least every 90 days or when material new evidence arrives. The dateModified on every page reflects the most recent verification.

What "fact-checked by Adam Kennah, M.D." means and doesn't mean

The line "Fact-checked by Adam Kennah, M.D. on [date]" at the top of a page means Dr. Kennah has reviewed every clinical claim on the page as of that date and has approved it for publication. It does not mean Dr. Kennah authored the page; he reviews content authored by other staff. It does not mean Dr. Kennah participated in scoring or ranking decisions; ranking is owned by Amanda Chen using the published rubric (see conflicts of interest).
